User Interface

Counter Attack may be operated with a Touch Screen, Mouse, Programmable Keyboard or Standard Keyboard, thus catering for a range of budgets.

Our on-screen Button Menu enables the user to make informed decisions on exactly which tasks or functions may be performed at any given time.

Unlike other POS software, where the information is displayed like a complicated account invoice, the Counter Attack screen layout and design is uncluttered and displays only the relevant information required to quickly process a sales transaction.

Touch Screen operation enables extremely fast processing of transactions.

Core Features:

  • Optional Hot Key Menu
    One of the most powerful features of Counter Attack is the optional use of Hot Keys. Each button may be programmed to store a stock/service item, or a sub-menu or a till function.
  • Powerful search screen – by item, stockcode, description or part thereof, supplier, department, range, price range, in stock and reverse display.
  • Discount by Percentage, Amount, Price Over-ride
  • Return Stock – With or Without validation
  • Place the current Sales transaction On Hold
  • Recall Sales On Hold by Hold Number or Customer Name

  • Kits / Pack – Bill of Materials – the system allows each item to be made up of a number of other items. An example… each Item/Service is made up of a number of raw materials. This allows stock items to be tracked and provides automatic re-ordering. The system can also project what stock is to be ordered based the sales from a previous period. e.g. December last year.


Customer Loyalty

  • VIP Customer Loyalty Tracking – Counter Attack allows 21 user definable fields that can store personal information on each VIP Customer. e.g. Birthday, Spouse/Siblings Name, Name of Club or Organisation the Customer is a member of etc.
  • Customer Accounts – the system allows credit limits to be setup and tracks purchases of customers. Automatic generation of Invoices and Statements for Account Customers.
  • Customer Orders – the ability to create an order and receive a deposit for an item that is to be specifically ordered in for a Customer. The store can record the information and receive a deposit as a guarantee that the customer will purchase the goods.
  • Lay-by – the system has many advanced management features. In brief, a lay-by may be created with various deposit calculations, subsequent payment made, items adjusted (added or deducted) from within a current lay-by and items taken and paid for from a current lay-by.
